It Works Healthy Lifestyle
Have you had it up to here with your health troubles? (yes, I’m holding my hand way up high to measure the height!) How about are you sick of worrying about finances, living paycheck to paycheck, sorting out which bills to pay while not being able to pay the others? You’re not alone! Well, there’s this company called It Works and I’m here to discuss the pros and the cons in a non-bias way to see if they can help you with your challenges in life.
What The Heck Is It Works?
It Works! is a direct selling company that offers professional quality beauty and wellness products.
Have you heard of the crazy wrap thing?! That’s what catchy phrase the It Works business is known for. They have many products that help you adapt to a healthier YOU lifestyle! Not only do they sell the wraps that help combat cellulite, water weight/inches, but they also sell herbal protein shakes, detox and fat blocking supplements, as well as lotions… They are a fast growing company that takes great care of their distributors/employees, and of course their customers. (For the company history click link It Works)
To Be A customer!
If you want just one product here and there you can contact a distributor (there are many!) The distributor has a website were you can go purchase products of your choosing. This website also has history of the company, facts/ingredients of every product and true stories of customers and workers. You can get the scoop on the company and products on any distributors site as well as pay for what you want with fast delivery to start working towards your health goals.
As a loyal customer you get the products at the distributors discount, so you have the potential to save beaucoup bucks! What’s the catch? Weeelllll, you have to use the product for 90 days, so each month you pay for the product (up to 3 months worth). If you opt out of the agreement for any reason before the 3 months is over you will be charged $50.00. But most people end up loving the product and remain as a loyal customer well after the 3 months. As a loyal customer you may change your products to other It Works products so you can try different items and see if you fall in love with one or more. For those who choose to end at the 90 day challenge (3 months) then you must go on the site and cancel or contact customer service to say ‘I want out!’
Want To Be A Distributor For It Works?
So you want to have flexible hours so you can have time for the family, work from anywhere, essentially be your own boss, and let’s not forget take long vacations anytime you want?! Don’t we all?! With this company you DO get to do these things… You are your own boss when it comes to how much you work, when you work, how HARD you work, but the good thing is you are not alone! You see you have a team, you guys keep in touch via internet to bounce ideas from each other, ask questions, answer others questions, make friends (how nice right?!)
What it takes to work for It Works
Sign Up Fee: $99 (one time only!)
Website fee: $20/month
Must buy products to get your commission: $80-100/month. This is called auto-ship and it can be turned off at anytime, SOOOO you don’t actually have to buy products monthly until you’re ready to accept payment/commission. (I know! that’s the kicker for some people!) They get turned away by this, it’s natural to question this… Would it turn you away?
Total monthly out-of-pocket fees for working as a distributor is roughly $100/month.
What’s The Deal?
I did so much research and reading on this company and read so many dang reviews that quite frankly I’m sick of it! HA! There are always people for and against ANY company/product/etc… So I broke it into two parts: the ‘I LOVE the heck out of the company and it’s products!’ it is WELL WORTH the investment and they are making a TON of money as a distributor, plus they love their team and working from home, blah blah blah. Then there’s the ‘I HATE this scamming get-rich company!’ One person even said she LOATHED the company (which I found hilarious that someone said loathed because I’m crazy! only kidding! I just like the word LOATHED!) Her deal was that she didn’t cancel her 3 month loyal customer agreement so they charged her for another month and she didn’t get refunded AND she didn’t get the products either… I’m not going to lie that’s messed up!
Note: The positive reviews outweighed the negative which are plastered everywhere on the internet. The negatives are pretty much the same statements: the products didn’t work for them, they didn’t know about the 3 month ‘loyal customer’ agreement and being charged $50 to cancel early. The positives are about many different things: Love the products and the new healthy lifestyle, working as a distributor has been life changing, I don’t have to worry about finances anymore, love the company I work for, etc…
Scheme Or Not?
Is This A pyramid Scheme? the answer is NO! Pyramid schemes are illegal and I’m pretty sure the company would have been shut down long ago and wouldn’t have been mentioned in the reputable Wall Street Journal and other magazines as one of the fastest growing companies in the USA.
They’re what you call a ‘Multi-Level Marketing company.’ Distributors recruit people to join their team and make money on that, and that new recruit adds someone to the team and that new recruit makes money on that. Then it’s a selling game, whoever recruits more people and gets more product sales goes up in rankings (a new recruit can out rank anyone on their team, including the person who recruited them… it depends on INDIVIDUAL SALES!) You have to be a go-getter to do well in this company and make profit after your $100 monthly investments. (it becomes a lifestyle were you talk about It Works, use it, market it, pretty much breathe it, sleep it, eat it).
One of the many distributors I’ve talked to made a good point: When it comes down to it: starting your own business (which is what you’re doing!) IS an investment! It’s usually an expensive investment, except this company makes it only a $100/month investment plus the start-up fee of $99. It’s peanuts when you think about other business costs to be your own boss.
