Body Pillow vs Spouse
You’re in bed, staring at the ceiling, a little bit sore, a little bit restless. You stare over at your snoring spouse who is fast asleep dreaming of eating lots and lots of chocolate (they must be because they’re smacking their lips in-between each snore). You then turn over to spoon your spouse because it feels good on your hips, then suddenly your spouse turns over to face you and Oh my that dang morning breath enters your nostrils and you can’t spin around fast enough. So you’re turned around uncomfortable again when their leg is now cradling you and causing more discomfort, not to mention that breath is now on the back of your neck…
There comes a time in one’s life were you wish you could sleep a little more comfortably without having to spoon your spouse or buy a brand-spank’n new bed that costs an arm and a leg. You’re tired of waking up in the middle of the night with sore shoulders/neck/hips/back and you’ve heard of this body pillow and want to know hmmmm does this really work? Well I’m here to tell you the benefits of the great body pillow and how they may even be better than spooning your spouse.
The Benefits Of Sleeping With A Trusty Body Pillow
There isn’t a long list of benefits when it comes to sleeping with a body pillow, but even with a short list it has a dramatic effect on our overall sleep through the night. Body pillows not only help pregnant women with comfort but many others as well. They help with weight placement. When you sleep with a body pillow you even out your weight taking less physical stress off your body. Also the body pillows help with blood circulation/flow which is very beneficial for your lovely body. The way they help with blood flow is by giving the body proper support and alignment.
Now don’t get me wrong, having a spouse is awesome if you have one. They can say good night, kiss your shoulder, rub your back (if your lucky), even make you feel loved and safe. Having that can weigh-out the less attractive list I mentioned in the first paragraph, MAYBE! ~wink~ So have your spouse on one side and your body pillow on the other and see which side you sleep better on. My bet is going to be the pillow as it is still and doesn’t roll around, make noise, and breath dragon breathe all over you. You can love your spouse more and still choose the pillow for great comfort. And if you’re alone just get all DIY on your pillow and add an arm to throw over you for the safe loving feeling (manllow).
I wish you readers a comfy good nights sleep so you can wake up in the morning feeling awesome!
Take care readers!
